A slightly unusual combination of two summer favorites comes together in this crowd-pleaser. Not sure about adding the basil? Neither were we, but trust us—you’ll want to try it! Give it a shot, and you might be pleasantly surprised (hint: it's absolutely delicious!)
Ingredients

- 1 package (8 ounces) reduced-fat cream cheese
- 1 can (14 ounces) fat-free sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp grated lime zest
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil
- 1 reduced-fat graham cracker crust (8 inches)
- Sweetened whipped cream or crème fraîche (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk.
- Add the lime zest, lime juice, and egg yolks. Beat until just blended, but be careful not to overmix. Stir in the fresh basil.
- Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Let it cool on a wire rack for about an hour, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or crème fraîche, if desired.
