After making the unit
I needed only one additional light and it is perfect.

Great lights, sometimes the tap function is a bit delayed. The install was easy, painless. The design fits well with the rest of the decor. Wish I could connect a few together and wish the in/off function worked a little quicker
I was excited to purchase the Grove light in order to grow basil inside this Winter. I am happy to say the parcel arrived up here to Alberta Canada in less than a week.. safely packaged with no damage! Also the tracking made it fun to watch the journey. This is my third soltech light (I have two aspect lights purchased from @botanifulyeg plant shop. Their display in store of soltech lights is beautiful. Also their beginner plant parent course introduced me to the importance of proper lighting and to soltech’s lights…. Beautiful!
Opening the package you immediately notice the care taken in the packaging …the light weight of the light and all the pieces included ;… timer, guides the measuring guide to drill the holes to install (genius)! Thank you for that.
My install was not as easy as the video…I ended up stripping a ****…and needed to start over and drill in a slightly different spot. (mistake is hidden by the lamp placement)..Learning curve! I would say taking the time to carefully measure so the light is placed where you want it is the longest step.
The drilling guide made it easy to drill the holes in the correct spot. (Again genius!)
The light is perfect aesthetically … blends in and looks modern. Also I find when turned on the lighting is calming … my dog likes to sit near the lights when they are turned on.
The tap on and off feature is a work in progress … sometimes it works and sometimes not. (Perhaps like other reviewers have noted it is user error ?)
The adhesive for the guides does not stick to my shelf so I will pick up some 3M double sided tape as noted by other reviewers thank you!
Since this is a review these things are mentioned.
..however the quality aesthetically modern beautiful design and thoughtful way the Grove is produced makes it my favourite light so far. I will be purchasing another Thank you soltech for your beautiful product!
