Nate –
Yeah you can totally plant them in soil, in fact if you have left overs we encourage you to do so! These are the same seeds that we sell in our Herb Seed Collection, which is for soil gardeners.

I received the kit as a gift and I love it. It works as advertised. The seeds germinated well and, truly, the plants require so little care. They can go a couple weeks or more without being watered. Very pleased. Cool gift.
